Today the typical multiple unit hotel and/or restaurant operator has more data, in more places than it can keep track of. In theory, all this information is supposed to help you run a better business. The reality is it is very complicated to gather the data, package it efficiently and deliver it to all your managers in a simple to understand manner.Statability creates an efficient way to look at executive company-wide consolidations, regional/brand/owner (or other mid-level) sub-totals and unit-level reports together in one complete reporting package. Statability reports are delivered via the Internet, and/or e-mail, use drill down technology, and provide real-time measurements. Now any manager in the organization can look at any report, at any time, from anywhere. Senior Management: They know what they want to see, but do not always have the time or resources available to create the reports they are looking for. Statability acts as their own personal reporting guru because we have access to the granular data that is always needed to create this type of reporting. Statability reports always build up to company totals through smaller sub-total consolidations in an effort to compare different types of total company performance. Middle Management:
This individual who is often seen as "the field" to senior management, while at the same time seen as "corporate" to the unit manager, is often paralyzed by the sheer volume of data that is delivered to them on a daily basis. Statability reporting transforms the data into valuable information by rolling up their units into easy to see and decipher reports that speak to the way they run their business. Top-to-bottom rankings, a list of the largest year-to-year advances and/or declines, and color-coded performance indicators, are a sample of ways Statability adds value to a regional, or brand manager's ability to spark change. The result is this manager has been able to be kept more informed, with less effort, on the daily happenings in the units they are held accountable for. They are also able to identify and respond quicker to positive and negative trends, while keeping senior management accurately informed to the direction of the business.Unit Managers: We know our reporting has to be intuitive to this user to be effective. Statability reporting provides actionable feedback on progress, identifies areas that need attention, and can highlight segments of their business that may need additional training or support. Other reporting looks can compare their own internal results to specific goals of the company so they are able to challenge their teams and keep score of their progress. |
