NEW REVENUE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FROM TREND FX, STATABILITY GOES TO WORK FOR CANDLEWOOD HOTEL CO.

WICHITA, Kan., July 2, 2002 - Candlewood Suites and Cambridge Suites will put powerful new revenue management tools to work this week - as installation of the web-based Revenue Management Information System (RMIS) from Trend FX Solutions and its alliance partner, Statability - is completed at all Candlewood Hotel Company's company-managed hotels coast-to-coast.

The automated revenue management solution will enable Candlewood to better develop and implement revenue strategies and enhancements in each hotel's local market.

The system was first installed and tested at several Candlewood hotels. Hotel management teams then provided important feedback to Trend FX. As improvements were added, the system became even easier to use, and at the same time, more powerful.

"Trend FX has provided tremendous input and resources in assisting us in successfully implementing our first automated revenue management system at all our hotels," says Candlewood Vice President Steve Meadows. "The significant enhancements they incorporated - specifically integrating feedback from our Candlewood team - has allowed us to implement a user-friendly system with greater functionality."

Trend FX Solutions Chairman and Co-founder Jon A. Wohlfert says the partnership has aided both Candlewood and Trend FX. "Based in part on the enhancements we provided Candlewood, we have now launched RMIS Version 2.0," he says, "which further builds on our value proposition of providing effective revenue management tools at an affordable price."

Specifically, Version 2.0 adds several new features, including:

Enhanced stay and rate recommendations module
Customized extended stay components and reporting
Executive level roll-up reports including exception reporting

Other key features and services of RMIS include:

Analysis of historical occupancy and rate trends
Integration of Smith Travel Research's daySTAR data
Identification of current rates offered by direct competitors (using the RateAgent module)
Forecasting and rate change recommendations
Training, installation and support options
